HIPS is mostly used for printing dissolvable support parts. However, it can be also used for various objects that require resistance to high temperatures (up to 95 °C), acids, bases, water and other chemicals or even as electric insulation. HIPS is recyclable. Compared to ASA, it produces less odour when printing. It is safe as food contact material.
Recommendation: Always keep the product in the packaging provided when not printing to prevent unwanted moisture from entering.
