PMMA (plexiglass, polymethyl methacrylate) newly developed for 3D printing is a modern material that prints very well. It is characterized by strength, stiffness, UV stability, withstands higher temperatures (up to 120 ° C for a short time, 90 ° C for a long time), is resistant to scratches, has high resistance to weathering or has good electrical properties. Disadvantages include fragility, notch sensitivity and flammability. The printer is set in the same way as for PETG, the temperatures are adjusted according to the above values. Unlike PETG, there is no stringing during printing!
